Nyx once belonged to Artemis the protector
and he helped her protect the dream worlds from evil that was sent by Erebus
the shadow dweller to destroy and ravage the dream worlds and turn them into
nightmares, but then one day Nyx was over powered by Erebus’s servants and was
turned into one of his slaves.
Now turned Nyx appeared before Erebus, the
God of Nightmares. He demands that Nyx does his bidding and returns to the
dream worlds to turn his past friends one by one into the same as him, a lowly
slave compelled to the bidding of their master, of course Nyx refuses to take
on this new role and loses his temper and fights Erebus to no prevail falling
backwards to the streets.
When Nyx awakes he sees Dionysus an insane
slave of Erebus no longer fit for combat. He promises Nyx that he will help him
to defeat the nightmarish Erebus once and for all, to free himself and return
him to his rightful place.
With the skill and knowledge needed Nyx
must do as he is told … for now and travels to each of the dream worlds with
the intent of destroying them. While in the dream worlds he makes some powerful
new enemies that, with a little persuasion, agree to help Nyx, but not till
after they have been turned by Nyx himself.
With enough allies Nyx decided to challenge
Erebus again but this time more powerful and stronger with help at his side. He
wins over Erebus and he fades away into the dust.
With Erebus gone Nyx now begins to wonder
why he is not back in his rightful place in the dream worlds. Dionysus walks up
behind him only to whisper in his ear. There must be 2 sides for the balance to
exist.
